- Use paper towels to clean up all of the solid waste.
- Blot up the as much of the liquid as you can with a paper towel.
- Use a small dab of liquid detergent on a towel to scrub out as much of the stain as possible.
- Mix 1 quart of warm water with a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and dribble this onto the stain.
- Blot up with a paper towel until the carpet is completely dry and the stain should be removed.
